One in six UK PCs are infected
One in six PC's have active spyware or malware infections, according to Pervx - The security vendors looked at 300,000 PC's showed that 15.6 % of those PC's had at least one active spyware malware program installed.
These programs, which include keyloggers, information stealers and fake antispyware, are emerging at a rate of 5,000 to 10,000 per day, company officials say.
